About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Incoming & Outgoing Quality Control (IQC/OQC) Specialist to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards before they enter our inventory and before they are dispatched to customers. You will play a critical role in data integrity, sample management, and final shipment verification.
Key Responsibilities include:
Data Management and Anomaly Feedback
· Update and maintain accurate test data records in the quality management system.
· Monitor test results; promptly report and escalate any abnormal data to the relevant supervisors.
· Organize, sort, and maintain comprehensive shipping data and historical shipment records for traceability.
Sample Management & COA Preparation
· Manage customer on-board samples, ensuring proper handling, storage, and documentation of all test sample information.
· Prepare standard Certificates of Analysis (COA) for finished products.
· Manage the complete COA approval process, ensuring documents are accurate and signed off before shipment.
Shipment Inspection and Release
· Conduct strict inspections of packaging and labelling to ensure full compliance with both customer specifications and company requirements.
· Verify all shipping information (quantity, destination, documentation) against work orders.
· Issue detailed inspection records and officially manage the shipment release process.
· Perform random inspections on shipped samples to ensure consistency.
· Monitor the condition of bulk packaging; intercept and hold any shipments where ton bags are found to be dirty or damaged.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
· At least 3 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing or laboratory environment within the battery materials industry, preferably in CAM.
· Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
· Ability to maintain organized records and manage data entry accurately.
· Familiarity with COA preparation and approval workflows is a plus.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical inspections.
