About the Role
We are looking for a responsible Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at our battery materials facility. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance experience from a similar battery materials producer and a strong safety awareness. This position is fixed term and is needed to help launch stable production at Easpring Finland. Due to the project-based nature of this position, an ideal candidate needs to be well familiar with the equipment used in a CAM plant, as it is expected that the candidate should be able to fix equipment breakdowns independently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report abnormalities promptly.
Guide production operators in correct equipment use and autonomous maintenance.
Complete assigned repair tasks on time and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Maintain accurate inspection and repair records and support 5S onsite management.
Control maintenance costs, manage spare parts, and avoid waste.
Comply with company safety, health, and environmental policies.
Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
College diploma or above in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Electrician or welding certificate preferred.
Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in a battery materials plant, preferably in a CAM plant.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Strong English language skills are required, Chinese language skills are seen as a strong plus.
